Softly melting cinnamon Christmas biscuits

For approx. 22 at 15 g each


  • 100 g sugar
  • 75 g eggs
  • 100 g milk
  • 200 g sieved plain white flour
  • 6 g baking powder
  • 50 g butter
  • Grated peel of ¼ of organic lemon
  • Grated peel of ½ of organic orange
  • ½ tsp powdered cinnamon
  • 22 moulds for 15 g of contents    

Preparatory work / lemon glazing

  • Mix 1 dsp lemon juice with icing sugar to give a light liquid glaze
  • Differently coloured sugar Christmas motifs 

Preparatory work

  • Mix plain white flour with baking powder
  • Melt the butter
  • Pre-heat oven to 180 °C 


Mix the sugar and egg together well, dissolve the powdered cinnamon in lukewarm milk and stir into the egg mixture.

Then add the sieved flour/baking powder and carefully stir the lukewarm, melted butter into it. Divide between the moulds and bake for approx. 12-14 minutes in the oven at 180 °C.

Allow the Christmas biscuits to cool and then coat with the lemon glaze and garnish with coloured sugar Christmas motifs.


Enjoy the Christmas biscuits on the day they are made.
