Shari Reyna is the Marketing Assistant at Kuhn Rikon USA. From TN to the Bay Area, read to see how cooking and marketing have influenced her life.
INTERVIEW
  • Tell us a little about yourself.
    Well, I am from Tennessee. I love to travel and even lived two years in Portugal after graduating college. I came to California to get my Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies and loved life here so much that I stayed. It has been a time for me to establish roots and build community. Growing up, my family moved around the country, so to have a place to really call home has been nice.
  • What brought you to Kuhn Rikon?
    I love kitchen gadgets and anything that can make my life easier. I am recently married and have been the main person cooking in the kitchen as of late. At the beginning of this year my husband and I decided to start living healthier. That meant not eating out as much and cooking more. With cooking becoming more of a passion and marketing already a passion it was a natural fit.
  • What is your favorite thing to cook?
    That is a hard question. It’s a toss-up between anything breakfast or Mexican carnitas. We love building deeper friendships and often that includes having people over for dinner.

  • What kind of marketing do you do?
    Here at Kuhn Rikon, I am assisting with the website, social media, newsletters, packaging and more. I also work at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art to create their digital presence via social media, online calendars, press releases and email.
