Iron frying pans

CHARACTERISTIC
The rustic, indestructible cast iron frying pan. Suitable for all types of hob (gas, glass-ceramic, halogen and induction), oven and barbecue (charcoal and gas).
The iron can be heated to a high temperature without a problem. In so doing, the heat is stored well. Cast iron frying pans are relatively heavy and require more care than stainless steel pans.

MATERIAL
High quality iron.

USE
For the flash frying of meat or for joints which are to be roasted in the oven.
Fried potatoes, potato rösti, oven-cooked vegetables.

USE
Frying pans without non-stick coating are suitable for the flash frying of meat.
Frying pans with non-stick coating are for low fat frying or sweating at moderate temperatures up to 240°C.

Aluminium frying pans

CHARACTERISTIC
Aluminium frying pans have an inner coating.
The long handle is in plastic (bakelite) or stainless steel.
They are lighter than stainless steel frying pans.

MATERIAL
Aluminium Inner coating PTFE (non-stick) / Sol-Gel (ceramic)

USE
Non-stick coated frying pans are suitable for low fat frying or sweating at medium temperatures (up to 240°C).
Sol-Gel coated frying pans are suitable for flash frying meat at high temperatures, always using high-temperature oils or fats.

Woks are made with round (gas, open flame or wok depressions) or flat bases (gas, glass-ceramic, halogen and induction).

USE
Above all in Asia the work is used on open gas flames for stir-frying.
In Europe the wok is becoming more and more popular and is also used as a general pan.
