Description

Using the design of a classic bread plate as their starting point, our Rheinfelder ceramics experts have created a highly versatile bowl design.
This can be used in a wide range of ways, introducing joy and cheer into everyday kitchen routines. The hand-painted bowls are perfect for serving soup, salad, fruit, meat, pastries, rice, vegetables, biscuits ... or even bread. Whatever you choose to use them for, they’re real eye-catchers, and each pattern has a special charm of its own.

Alois Carigiet (* 30 August 1902 Trun, Grisons; † 1 August 1985 Trun) was known for his work as a Swiss painter, drawer, lithographer and author of children's books. Three of his most famous picture books are: "A Bell for Ursli", "The Snowstorm" and "Flurina und the wild bird". Especially the book "A Bell for Ursli" written by Selina Chönz led to national fame. The Engadine reference to nature and landscape is omnipresent in Alois Carigiet's drawings. The unique Carigiet paintings can be found in the Rheinfeld ceramic products. All products are unique and lovingly handcrafted - just looking at this product line gives a lot of pleasure.
